Are You Having Difficulties Scheduling Your Second Dose of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine?

BUTLER COUNTY, OHIO – If individuals are having trouble accessing their second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, administered by the Butler County General Health District (BCGHD), please email us at COVIDVACCINE@butlercountyohio.org. BCGHD staff are monitoring this email account frequently throughout the day.

If someone does not have access to the internet and/or a computer, please call us at 513-887-3130. This phone line is ONLY set up to address concerns or issues related to accessing the second dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Please understand our staff are very busy and may not be able to answer right away. Leave a message and someone will call you back as soon as possible.

When appointments are available, BCGHD sends an automated phone call and email from the Ohio Alert Network, phone number: 866-998-3678. The automated message alerts individuals who have pre-registered with BCGHD to check their email for a link that will allow them to schedule their appointment.

To avoid missing or blocking the call/email from BCGHD and the Ohio Alert Network follow these tips:

  • Check your email inbox, including your spam folder often;
  • Be on the lookout for the above phone number and email from the Ohio Alert Network. If using a cell phone, you may want to add this phone number as a new contact;
  • If you have pre-registered and are awaiting notifications to be scheduled, answer spam or blocked calls;
  • If you were scheduled over the phone because you do not have access to the internet/computer, BCGHD staff will contact you from the phone number 513-887-3001. If using a cell phone, you may want to add this phone number as a new contact.

At this time, Moderna is the only vaccine available through BCGHD. We expect to offer additional options as the newly FDA approved Johnson and Johnson vaccine becomes more widely available.
