TESTING  IN THE COMMUNITY

 

 HIV AND HEPATITIS C TESTING
Caracole’s prevention program provides FREE, anonymous or confidential HIV testing at their Northside office location and out in the Greater Cincinnati tristate community.

No appointment necessary, but they are available. 
Test results come back in just 1 minute, with a simple finger prick.

SYRINGE SERVICES PROGRAMS
A Syringe Service Program (SSPs)  is a comprehensive, community based public health initiative that fights addiction by providing disease prevention, education and referral services. Prevention services include HIV and Hepatitis C testing, making NARCAN® (Aloofness), healthcare referrals, available FREE to the public through the NARCAN® distribution, and offering clean needles. The latter is also designed to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases like HIV and Hepatitis among people who inject drugs.

BLOODBORNE INFECTIOUS DISEASE PREVENTION PROGRAM 
The Bloodborne Infectious Disease Prevention Program is designed to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases like HIV and Hepatitis and promote safety, health and wellness by proactively addressing risk behavior and offering services and care among people who use drugs.
