BLOODBORNE INFECTIOUS DISEASE PREVENTION PROGRAM
The Bloodborne Infectious Disease Prevention Program is designed to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases like HIV and Hepatitis and promote safety, health and wellness by proactively addressing risk behavior and offering services and care among people who use drugs.
BUTLER COUNTY OVERDOSE DATA DASHBOARD
The dashboard is updated weekly and includes data numbers and graphs for Butler County suspected fatal overdoses and suspected overdose emergency department visits.
SYRINGE SERVICES PROGRAMS
A Syringe Service Program (SSPs) is a comprehensive, community based public health initiative that fights addiction by providing disease prevention, education and referral services. Prevention services include HIV and Hepatitis C testing, making NARCAN®, healthcare referrals, available FREE to the public through the NARCAN® distribution, and offering clean needles. The latter is also designed to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases like HIV and Hepatitis among people who inject drugs.
