Almost all zip-codes in Butler County still meet the conditions set to be declared a community of high transmission. Cases are dropping in all but one zip-code. Since individuals are rarely constrained by the relatively small borders of a zip-code in their day-to-day lives, these transmission indicators are for information only. For practical guidance, follow the county level indicators.
Deaths remain the only, and ultimately most important, outcome that are trending in the wrong directions. However, nearly all new deaths that are accounted for in this report have illness onset dates or test collection dates dating back to the rise seen in August 2021.
