Health Commissioner
Interested candidates must have application materials submitted by 9/30/2021 in order to be considered.
Under the direction of the Butler County Board of Health, the Health Commissioner directs, supervises and prioritizes the Health District’s mission to prevent disease and injury, promote health and wellness, protect the environment, and achieve health equity. Exercise critical thinking, independent judgment, and decision-making associated with the Public Health Core Competencies. Works alongside public officials, community and state agencies, and the public to discuss and share policies, programs, and services. The Health Commissioner must be a champion and empower personnel to operate at all times by our guiding principles: Build, Unity, Teamwork, Leadership, Excellence, and Respect.
