We will continue our drive through clinics every Wednesday and Friday. This week we are increasing the number to 1500 individuals per clinic. We are no longer keeping a pre-registration list. All future announcements will be made available via BCGHD’s Facebook (@ButlerCountyGeneralHealthDistrict), Twitter (@butlercounty_HD) accounts and website (http://health.bcohio.us/) each week.

In addition to the mass vaccination clinics, BCGHD is utilizing “strike teams” made up of Registered Nurses that are deployed into the community to vaccinate targeted vulnerable populations that may face disparities associated with access to receiving the vaccine. These smaller vaccination events are occurring in churches, community centers and other partner organizations within the county that are located in high to moderately high social vulnerability opportunities.

As of 3/14/21, a total of 66,640 people have been vaccinated in Butler County, making up 17.4% of the county population. BCGHD has a plan to ensure that all doses are used up by end of each clinic.
